The mission of the Administration Division is to support the Sheriff’s Office in maintaining the integrity of the agency, and to supply the Human Resources services to the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office who serve the community. The members of this division take pride in ensuring that the agency meets the standards of the accreditation process through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) and the South Carolina Police Accreditation Coalition (SCPAC).
This division is responsible for personnel, payroll, training, grants, supply, property control, budget, Medical control, E911, and crime analysis. Coordinates media relations and the Crimestopper program. Oversees Personnel and Recruiting, Center for Advanced Training, Legals and Professional Compliance
Office of Professional Standards
The Office of Professional Standards (OPS) conducts internal affairs investigations, conducts internal inspections, administers polygraphs, and oversees Supply/Property Control. Internal inspections ensure that our agency is ready to respond to any situations that arise. Internal affairs investigations ensure that we are adhering to our policies and procedures. These behind-the-scenes functions are vital to maintaining public accountability and transparency.
